These Terms govern your access to and use of ShareMo’s website, mobile app, memberships, deals, vouchers, merchant listings, referral features, and related services.

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ShareMo mobile application, website, and any related products, features, content, campaigns, communications, support channels, and services made available by Sharemo Technologies Sdn. Bhd. ("ShareMo", "we", "us", or "our"), collectively referred to as the "Services".

By accessing, browsing, registering for, downloading, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services immediately.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Sharemo Technologies Sdn. Bhd. whether you use the Services as an individual, as a merchant representative, or in any other capacity.

1. Our Services

ShareMo is a membership and local discovery platform that may allow users to discover, browse, save, unlock, activate, claim, redeem, or interact with nearby offers, promotions, vouchers, merchant listings, campaigns, rewards, and related digital content.

The Services may include website and mobile app features such as account registration, merchant discovery, location-based browsing, deal pages, QR-based claim or redemption flows, referrals, campaign participation, support communications, and business-related tools.

We may update, improve, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law.

2. Eligibility and User Accounts

You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use the Services. If you are under 18, you should use the Services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You agree that all information you provide is true, accurate, current, and complete, and that you will update it if anything changes.

If registration is required, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities conducted through your account.

We may refuse registration, require verification, reclaim usernames, or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or operational reasons.

3. Memberships, Plans, and Access

Certain ShareMo features may require a paid membership, subscription, promotional plan, invite-based access, trial, partner entitlement, or other eligibility condition.

Membership benefits may vary by plan, campaign, merchant participation, outlet availability, user account status, location, and time period. Not all deals, merchants, or benefits will be available to all users at all times.

Memberships and account benefits are personal to you unless we expressly state otherwise. They may not be copied, transferred, resold, shared, exchanged, or commercially exploited without our permission.

We may impose eligibility checks, cooldown periods, usage limits, verification measures, or anti-abuse rules to maintain fairness, security, operational integrity, and merchant confidence.

4. Payments, Billing, Auto-Renewal, and Refunds

If you purchase any paid feature, membership, subscription, or service through ShareMo, you agree to provide complete, accurate, and current billing and payment information.

Prices, charges, and billing terms shown at the time of purchase will apply unless there is an obvious error. All amounts are payable in the currency displayed at checkout unless otherwise stated.

If a subscription is set to renew automatically, you authorize us or the relevant payment processor, app marketplace, or billing provider to charge the recurring subscription fees until you cancel in accordance with the applicable billing flow.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, fees paid are non-refundable once the relevant purchase, access right, or subscription period has started, except where a refund is required by applicable law, required by the relevant platform provider, or expressly approved by us.

Purchases processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, or another third party may also be subject to that provider’s own terms, billing rules, cancellation procedures, and refund policies.

5. Offers, Deals, Vouchers, and Redemptions

ShareMo may display or facilitate access to promotions, vouchers, discounts, rewards, gifts, experiences, member benefits, reservations, campaigns, merchant privileges, or similar offerings ("Offers").

All Offers are subject to availability, validity periods, merchant participation, outlet availability, redemption rules, operational limitations, and any specific terms shown on the relevant offer page, merchant page, checkout flow, QR claim flow, or campaign material.

  • Offers may be limited by user, time, date, outlet, quantity, or location.
  • Offers may require activation, claim steps, verification, or redemption confirmation.
  • Offers may be one-time only or subject to cooldown or frequency limits.
  • Offers cannot be combined unless expressly allowed.
  • Offers may be withdrawn, paused, corrected, invalidated, or replaced where necessary.
  • Offers have no cash value unless expressly stated otherwise.

You must follow all redemption instructions exactly as displayed. We may reject or void a redemption if we reasonably believe it is invalid, duplicated, fraudulent, abusive, technically manipulated, or outside the permitted terms.

Screenshots, copied QR codes, location spoofing, fake check-ins, duplicated accounts, manipulated devices, or attempts to bypass redemption controls may result in cancellation of the Offer, suspension of your account, and any other action available to us under these Terms or law.

6. Merchant Terms and Third-Party Responsibility

Merchants, outlets, venues, brands, organizers, and other business partners featured on ShareMo are generally independent third parties unless expressly stated otherwise.

Merchant descriptions, menus, availability, opening hours, pricing, taxes, service quality, stock levels, and fulfilment are primarily determined by the relevant merchant, not by ShareMo.

We may facilitate discovery, listing, support, redemption validation, or claim workflows, but we do not control the merchant’s actual products or services unless we expressly state that we do.

Where appropriate, we may help coordinate support or investigate redemption issues, but we do not guarantee a particular outcome.

7. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

  • use the Services in a fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or misleading manner;
  • create fake accounts or impersonate another person or entity;
  • share, sell, or transfer account access, membership rights, or Offers without authorization;
  • scrape, harvest, mirror, crawl, or systematically extract content or data from the Services;
  • circumvent access controls, location controls, security measures, or anti-abuse systems;
  • use bots, scripts, automation, spoofing, or unauthorized software;
  • upload malware or harmful code;
  • submit false claims, false redemptions, false reports, or manipulated reviews;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of others; or
  • use the Services in a way that breaches applicable law.

We may investigate suspected abuse, fraud, manipulation, coordinated misuse, or commercial exploitation and may take any action we reasonably consider appropriate.

8. User Content, Feedback, and Reviews

If you submit ratings, reviews, comments, suggestions, support messages, photos, testimonials, or other material ("User Content"), you remain responsible for that User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use that User Content for operating, improving, promoting, defending, and providing the Services.

If you send us feedback, ideas, feature requests, or product suggestions, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

The Services, including our app, website, software, code, features, text, graphics, logos, branding, layout, databases, and related materials, are owned by or licensed to Sharemo Technologies Sdn. Bhd. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Services for your personal and lawful use.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by us.

10. App Licence

If you download or use our mobile app, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on a device that you own or control, solely in accordance with these Terms.

App marketplace providers may have additional terms that apply to your download, installation, billing, updates, and refund rights.

11. Privacy and Data Use

Your use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal data.

Where the Services use account data, device data, location information, analytics, verification logs, redemption data, or fraud detection signals, such processing may be necessary for platform operation, merchant validation, support, abuse prevention, and service improvement.

12. Suspension, Restriction, and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate your access to all or part of the Services, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:

  • you have breached these Terms;
  • you have engaged in fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity;
  • your account presents a security or operational risk;
  • we are required to act for legal or regulatory reasons; or
  • continuing access is not technically, commercially, or operationally appropriate.

We may also cancel Offers, reverse benefits, block devices, reject transactions, or require additional verification where reasonably necessary.

13. Service Availability and Changes

We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, complete, or error-free.

The Services may be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, third-party dependency failures, connectivity issues, merchant-side problems, or causes beyond our control.

We may update, redesign, remove, or discontinue features, content, merchant listings, Offers, plans, user flows, or technical requirements at any time.

14. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

  • that every Offer will be accurate, available, or redeemable at all times;
  • that every merchant will honour an Offer in all circumstances;
  • that the Services will always operate without interruption or error; or
  • that any particular savings, exposure, or benefit will be achieved.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any right, guarantee, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sharemo Technologies Sdn. Bhd. and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, partners, licensors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive loss or damage, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data, opportunity, or anticipated savings arising out of or in connection with the Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of:

  • the amount you paid to us for the relevant paid Service in the 3 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • RM100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sharemo Technologies Sdn. Bhd. and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, partners, licensors, and agents from and against claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with your misuse of the Services, your breach of these Terms, your fraud, misconduct, unlawful act, or your infringement of any third-party right.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with them or the Services shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.

You agree that the courts of Malaysia shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

18. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly linked to a specific feature, campaign, Offer, or plan, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.

If any provision is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

We may provide notices to you through the app, website, email, SMS, push notification, or another reasonable communication method associated with your account or use of the Services.
